Oliver Wyman has hired a Senior Partner pairing to strengthen their German business. Markus Schebitz, former Managing Director and Sourcing & Procurement Lead at Accenture, has joined to continue his work in sustainability, digitalisation, and innovation within Procurement & Supply Chain across the region. Similarly, Sebastian Maus has joined Oliver Wyman’s Payments practice after a 19 year stint at Roland Berger.
Charles Chang has joined PwC’s Corporate Finance Advisory team from Arma Partners. Joining as a Partner, Mr. Chang will focus his attention on developing PwC’s mid-market software and tech advisory capabilities.
EY UK&I Consulting have added two experienced professionals to the Partnership; Alice Stephen joins from Deloitte, and will specialise in tech-centric finance transformation, and Ross Maclean re-joins, having previously served a EY’s Chief Digital & Innovation Officer across Africa, India & the Middle East, and more recently as Group CEO of the recently-acquired digital agency The Collective.
Aerospace and Defence expert Diane Shaw has joined AlixPartners in the UK as a Managing Director/Partner. Ms. Shaw joins following an 18 year tenure at Strategy& (and formerly Booz & Co.), where she specialised in large-scale turnaround, transformation, and strategy.
Raymond Timmer, a 24-year KPMG veteran, has joined Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Performance Improvement practice in Germany. During his time at KPMG, Mr. Timmer was pivotal in establishing their Global Strategy Group capability across the BeNeLux.
Virginie Gasnier has joined Alvarez & Marsal as a Managing Director in Paris to lead their Debt Advisory capability across France and Spain. With prior experience at Natixis Partners, Blackrock and BNP Paribas, Ms. Gasnier brings a wealth of debt and structured finance advisory experience to the role.
Alvarez & Marsal India have announced the arrival of Executive Director Aparna Chopra within their Retail and Consumer Products practice. With 25 years of in-depth fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail, and online businesses expertise, Ms. Chopra will advise clients on brand management, marketing strategy, and business transformation issues.
Alejandro Navarro has joined BCG in Amsterdam from Bain & Co.. Joining their Consumer practice as a Managing Director & Partner, Mr. Navarro will lead their Climate & Sustainability topic for Consumer Products across EMESA.
Oliver Wyman has added a senior head to their Middle Eastern Government and Public Institutions practice in the form of Borko Handjiski, based out of the UAE. Formerly an Associate Partner at McKinsey, Mr. Handjiski most recently held the title of Head of Strategic Projects & Policies at the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance.
Eight Advisory has strengthened its financial risk management capabilities with the appointment of Tristan Fresson. The Director is based in Paris.
Interpath Advisory continues its growth in the UK through the appointment of two new Managing Directors. Joining from EY’s Corporate Finance business, Stuart Mogg will serve as Head of Financial Services Debt & Capital Advisory. Matthew Jubb joins from private equity advisory firm Endless, and will focus on financial and operational restructuring, carve-out and ‘buy-and-build’ M&A.
Tom Jack has joined Alvarez & Marsal’s Manchester office as a Managing Director, where he will support the growth and evolution of their Financial & Operational Restructuring team. Mr. Jack previously held Partner roles at Endless private equity advisory and EY.
After three years at Interpath Advisory, Suren Thadani has joined Deloitte UK’s Value Creation team, where he will continue his work supporting private equity, sovereign wealth fund, and corporate clients with operational and supply chain optimisation topics.
Following the acquisition of SeaTec Consulting by Oliver Wyman, Matthew Rabson has joined the senior ranks of the latter as a Director. The former BCG Partner has deep expertise in the Aviation sector, and in Travel & Transportation more broadly.
Alvarez & Marsal have welcomed Richard Grint as Managing Director, within their EMEA Disputes & Investigations team. Joining from FTI Consulting, Mr. Grint has extensive experience in Financial Crimes and a deep background in leading complex, cross-border investigations.
RSM UK have appointed Sarah Waddington as a Partner in their Consulting team, where she will specialise in financial reporting and accounting advisory. Ms. Waddington joins from Deloitte, where she had been a Partner for 7 years.

Oliver Wyman has announced that Mariya Rosberg has been appointed Americas Head of Banking & Financial Services. Based out of New York, Ms. Rosberg has over 20 years of experience in the Consulting and Financial Services industries.
Horváth has appointed Saad Hamam as its first Partner in the Middle East. Saad has been a driving force behind Horváth’s growth and success in the Middle East since joining in 2014 and becoming a Managing Director of the regional office in 2020.
Paula Bellostas Muguerza has taken over the role of Global Lead for Kearney’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice. With 14 years of experience in the sector, Paula’s passion for health equity has led her to develop and launch the Redesigning Healthcare with Women in Mind initiative on top of being the global mental health and wellbeing lead at Kearney.

BDO have announced the appointment of Mark Shaw as the next Managing Partner. Currently the Head of Business Restructuring, Mr. Shaw will succeed Paul Eagland as of the 1st October 2024.

Nuvalence brings a team of over 140 engineers, product managers, and architects from across the US, Canada and Colombia, who will boost EY’s ability to help clients reinvent their industries with value-driven, AI-enabled platforms.
AlixPartners is taking over Berylls consulting field through Berylls Strategy Advisors and Berylls Mad Media. They will become ‘Berylls by AlixPartners’, with around 160 Berylls employees joining AlixPartners’ team in the DACH region, expanding the team to approximately 400 members.
EY has bolstered its sustainability and ESG expertise in Europe with the acquisition of Denkstatt, adding a 170-strong team in Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia to its ranks. The firm will work closely together with EY’s Sustainability & Climate Change Services.
British and Swiss partners of KPMG have voted overwhelmingly in favour of merging their firms, creating a £3.4 billion professional services group.
